It appears that President Donald Trump will rewrite an Executive Order banning immigrants from entering the US from seven countries: Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Libya and Yemen. The new Executive Order will be written conform to circumvent the block placed by the 9th Circuit Court. Green Card visa holders will not be stopped from entering the USA while in the air.
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a block placed on Donald Trump’s Executive Order banning travel. Refugees and immigration and non-immigration visas into the United States from 7 nations, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Yeman, Iran and Syria has been suspended. Travel and visa requests will continue as usual.
The three judge court ruled as follows: The states were likely to succeed in their due process claim, noting that the due process protections provided under the Constitution apply not only to citizens, but to all “aliens” in the country as well, as well as “certain aliens attempting to re-enter the United States after traveling abroad.”
